Mientras tanto, y hasta entonces: Zodiaco Chino!
El zodiaco chino es un arma interesante para describir a una persona. Pensar en un animal, que han visto, de una u otra manera, es mas facil que tratar de concentrarse en un planeta lejano. Y creanme que nunca se trata de solo un planeta!
Aunque los animales del Zodiaco chino tienen matices ya que pertenecen a diferentes elementos segun el anho al que pertenecen, caminan con la sombra de otro que varia de acuerdo a la hora de nacimiento y son de naturaleza yin o yang, poco mas suele ser suficiente.
A menos que hayan nacido en Oriente. Yo no naci en Oriente y mi conocimiento es modesto, pero siempre util!
Para tener en cuenta: Cada animal en el Zodiaco chino reina durante todo un anho y le da su nombre. Pero el comienzo del anho chino varia de acuerdo al dia en que se produzca la primera luna nueva y deberan asegurarse quienes nacieron en enero, febrero o marzo.
Dicho esto, comencemos!
La Rata (1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, se repiten cada 12 anhos!)
Fue la primera en llegar ante Buda, mintiendole al Bufalo para que la cargue, y ya eso es muestra de su astucia.
Profundamente social, buen comerciante y amante de los placeres. Su lado negativo es el descontrol.
El Bufalo (1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997)
Silencioso, gran trabajador y muy concentrado. Algo snob. Se siente seguro pudiendo clasificar personas y hechos.
Individualistas que tejen su destino. Se puede confiar en su palabra.
El Tigre (1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998)
Corazon valiente! Muy fuerte, invierte su esfuerzo en lo que realmente necesita si ademas le gusta. Leal a si mismos y a quienes aman. Necesita lograr lo imposible y no pueden disimular la indiferencia.
El Gato, o Conejo (1951, 1963, 1975,
1987, 1999)
Muy refinado, su punto fuerte es la diplomacia y necesita de buena companhia en un buen ambiente. Es tambien afortunado y muy sensible. Nada le importa tanto como la paz interior. A veces podria hacer mas.
El Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)
Magnanimo, vital y poderoso. Su impetuosidad puede ser excesiva y pueden tambien ahogarse en su propio entusiasmo. No es sentimental y toma la admiracion de los otros como un hecho consumado.
Pero nadie lo iguala en el momento de elegir una causa y conseguir lo que se propone.
La Serpiente (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001)
Sofisticada y supersticiosa la Serpiente sospecha silenciosamente de todo. Algo posesiva y demandante es muy dificil que olvide una ofensa. O una deuda. Pero es la persona que queremos cerca en el momento de idear un plan efectivo y sabio.
El Caballo (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002)
Inteligente y rapido, mental y fisicamente, ama la libertad por sobre todas las cosas. Muy practico, impone con tenacidad su punto de vista y se impacienta facilmente. Nadie como el Caballo para companhero de aventuras. El entusiasmo los mantiene siempre jovenes.
La Cabra (1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003)
Tierna y afortunada. Hace de la preocupacion un habito y consigue consuelo y gratificaciones. Poseedora de natural buen gusto. Muy estetica logra los mayores resultados con muy poca inversion. Pacifica, evita el conflicto o tomar partido a toda costa.
El Mono (1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004)
Inventa, improvisa y motiva de manera encantadora. Es excelente resolviendo problemas y aprende con facilidad, por lo que muchas veces no respeta al otro y se siente superior. Aun asi su nombre es siempre sinonimo de inteligencia.
El Gallo (1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005)
Puede ser muy conversador o simplemente observador, pero nunca se distrae. Y, a menos que queramos saber la verdad, mejor no pedir su opinion. Brilla cuando es el centro de atencion y sus buenos consejos serian mas escuchados si viniesen mejor envueltos.
El Perro (1958, 1979, 1982, 1994, 2006)
Muy directo y honesto rara vez dirige sus criticas a alguien en particular, el mundo con su injusticia es su campo de batalla y defiende causas perdidas hasta el final.
La pasaria mejor si entendiera que la seriedad no lo acerca a la santidad.
El Chancho (1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007)
Rara vez es malvado, y como odia las discusiones hay que enojarlo mucho para que eso ocurra. No tienen segundas intenciones y la inocencia habita su corazon.
Dispone con la misma generosidad de lo propio que de lo ajeno.

Meanwhile, and till then: Chinese Zodiac!
The Chinese zodiac is an interesting tool to describe a person. To think about an animal you have seen, someway, is easier than trying to think about a faraway planet regarding personality, and trust me, there is never only one planet involved!
Though the animals in the Chinese zodiac differ in the element they belong to according to the year of birth, they walk with another animal’s shadow depending the hour they were born, and their nature is either yin or yang, little more is needed.
Unless you were born in the East. I was not and my knowledge is humble, but useful!
To keep in mind: every animal in the Chinese zodiac reigns during a whole year and gives it its name. But the beginning of the Chinese year is never a fixed one as it depends on the first new moon and those of you born in January, February or March should always check.
This being said, let’s go to the first one!
The Rat (1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, they repeat every 12 years)
He was the first one to get to Buda. He tricked the Ox into carrying him and that’s proof of his shrewdness.
He is deeply social, good for commerce and a lover of pleasure. Lack of control might be an issue.
The Ox (1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997)
Silent, very centered and good worker. He feels safer if he is able to classify people and facts.
Individualistic, he weaves its own destiny. You can always trust his word.
The Tiger (1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998)
Brave Heart! Very daring, he invests his effort in what he really needs and likes besides. Loyal to himself and to those he loves. He needs to try the untried and can’t conceal indifference.
The Cat, or Rabbit (1951, 1963, 1975,
Very sensitive, diplomacy is his strength and he enjoys good company in a refined atmosphere. Inner peace is his goal in life, and meanwhile we enjoy his company.
Sometimes he could do more.
The Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)
Strong, magnanimous and powerful. His impetuosity can blaze him and he can succumb to his own enthusiasm. He is not sentimental and take other people’s admiration for granted. But none equals the mighty dragon once he chooses a cause to fight for.
The Snake (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001)
Sophisticated and superstitious the Snake silently suspects everyone and everything. Sometimes possessive and demanding it is very difficult that he forgets an offense. Or a debt. But he is the person to talk to if we need to think over a wise and effective plan.
The Horse (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002)
Smart and fast, both mentally and physically, he loves freedom above all things. Practical and intelligent he wants things to be done his way and grows easily impatient. Enthusiasm keeps them youn for ever. None like a horse as a partner for adventure.
The Sheep (1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003)
Tender and lucky. Naturally worried, he always obtains comfort and gratification. He has good taste and gets the best results with the least of investments. Peaceful in general, he avoids confrontation or taking sides.
The Monkey (1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2002)
Invents, improvises and motivates in a charming way.
Fast learner, he is excellent solving problems. Because of that sometimes he feels superior and disrespects the others. His name always equals intelligence.
The Rooster (1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2003)
Very talkative or deeply observant, he is always alert. And, unless we want to know the truth, better not to ask his opinion. He loves being the center of attention and his good advice would be better taken if he wrapped it nicely.
The Dog (1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2004)
Straightforward and honest he seldom directs his criticism towards someone, the whole world and its injustice is his field of action. He defends lost causes till the end.
He would be better if he understood that seriousness doesn’t get him closer to sainthood.
The Boar (1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2005)
They are never mean, and they have to be very cross to start a quarrel. They never have hidden intentions and innocence dwells in his heart.
He will give you his time and stuff without asking and with the same generosity he helps himself with others’.
