LEO
El Sol iluminará a la constelación del León desde el viernes 22.
Esto hace que todas las personas nacidas en ésta época de cualquier año sea leoninos o leoninas.
Cada signo tiene un planeta regente, que es su dueño. Y el regente de Leo es el Sol.
Y como sabemos que el Sol es el centro del universo conocido deberíamos entender la necesidad de leoninos y leoninas de llamar la atención, y porque esperan siempre que todo gire a su alrededor.
También, y para ser justos, es verdad que son cálidos, naturalemente generosos, se expresan con claridad, sus intenciones son casi siempre obvias y aunque pasen por egocéntricos son también los primeros en compartir lo que reciben.
Y quién puede resistirse a la generosidad? O al brillo del Sol en la cara después de una larga noche de sueños mezclados?
Y de una larga, instrospectiva y dramática noche estamos saliendo todos después de las cuatro semanas durante las que el Sol visitó a Cáncer.
Salimos de un mes en el que la Luna (regente de Cáncer) tiñó la luz solar mientras estuvo en su signo,
y ahora el Sol ingresa triunfante en su casa: el signo Leo, poniendo a los leones y las leonas donde más les gusta, en el centro de la acción (o de la mesa!), donde Leo disfruta el dramatismo ya que no soporta pasar desapercibido.
Cansan hablando de sí mismos? Puede ser, pero es muy difícil que sean pesismistas, uno puede aburrirse un poco, pero deprimirse? Jamás!
El malhumor (ajeno!) es una ofensa para Leo que necesita que lo entretengan y consuelen inmediatamente... teníamos algo más que hacer? Seguro puede esperar...
Son egocéntricos, es verdad, pero la única diferencia con los demás signos es que no lo ocultan. Y llegado el momento de compartir las luces del escenario, (pasada su entrada triunfal, por supuesto), no tienen ningún inconveniente en incluír al resto. No cuentan lo que dan a cambio de un poco de admiración, claro que tampoco sacan cuenta de lo que esperan recibir. Siempre es mucho.
Valientes y de gran corazón, los hombres y mujeres de Leo tienen fuerte espíritu de grupo. Son muy trabajadores y aceptan bien las jerarquías laborales.
Son orgullosos pero están muy pendientes de las reacciones de los demás, ésto los torna a veces inseguros o frágiles emocionalmente y se sienten heridos con facilidad.
Todo planeta que ocupe el signo de Leo tendrá características similares que aportará a la persona, trátese (por ejemplo) de Mercurio, de la Luna o del ascendente en una carta, y se manifestará en forma parecida.
El Sol u otro planeta o el ascendente en Leo aportan fé, valor, optimismo, inocencia, algo de irresponsabilidad y mucho magnetismo.
Es importante para leoninos y leoninas que aprovechen éste año que comienza porque tendrán un aporte importante de Urano, más evidente para quienes pertenecen al primer decanato.
Urano los inspirará para encontrar salidas a situaciones difíciles, con ideas que parecerán salidas de la galera del mago. Presten atención a las señales, atiendan su intuición. Esto es importante porque a pesar de todo su brillo Leo es un signo bastante conservador al que le cuestan los cambios.
Mercurio, el mensajero del Sol que siempre anda cerca, está también en Leo y su estadía allí será larga ya que le toca un período retrógrado (del que hablaré más adelante) que deben aprovechar porque aclara y facilita la transmisión de ideas.
Saturno desde Libra también ayuda. Enfría, disciplina y hace que su natural entusiasmo y esfuerzo perseveren, los acerca y respalda ante los demás.
Y si de seducir se trata, esperen hasta el 28 que Venus entra también en Leo endulzando sus palabras y ayudando a convencer y conseguir socios, amores, casi todo lo que necesiten de los demás.

The Sun enters Leo next Friday 22.
So any person being born this time of the year, any year, is Leo.
Each sign has a ruler, or owner, and Leo’s is the Sun.
And as the Sun is the center of the universe so is Leo people’s need for attention and the reason why they always expect everything to revolve around them.
But, and just to be fair, it is also true that most Leos are warm and effortlessly generous. They express themselves with clarity, their intentions are almost always obvious and they may be egocentric but they are the first to share what they have too! And who can resist generosity? Or the Sun shining upon the face after a long night filled with disconcerting dreams?
We are all merging out of such a night, a dramatic and introspective one where the Sun put us while visiting Cancer the past four weeks. We end a month when the Moon, Cancer’s ruler, overshadowed the Sun impetus to keep going and took us back and made us remember and try to solve old issues.
But now the Sun enters triumphant in Leo, his own house, placing Leo people where they best feel: in the center of the scene, (or the middle of the table), for Leo enjoys drama and can not stand indifference.
They tire people talking about themselves? It may be so, but they are seldom pessimistic, you may get a little bored, but feel down? Never!
Moodiness (others’!) is offensive for Leo who needs to be entertained and comforted… we had anything else to do? Sure it can wait!
They are egocentric and that’s true, but the only difference with the rest of us mortals is that they don’t hide it. And when the moment comes to share the limelight, (after their triumphal entrance, of course) they love to include the rest. They don’t count what they give in exchange of admiration, neither what they expect to receive. And it is always a lot.
Leo men and women are brave and have great hearts. They are dependable workers and accept hierarchies at their work places.
They are also proud but depend a lot on other people’s reactions and that can make them feel insecure and easily hurt.
Keep in mind that any planet, apart from the Sun, or the ascendant, occupying Leo will provide similar characteristics to a person’s chart.
The Sun, Mercury or any other planet, or the ascendant, will provide optimism, faith, irresponsibility sometimes along with a natural happiness.
This year it is important for Leo people to make use of Uranus. It will inspire them to find ways out of difficult situations through innovative ideas.
Pay attention to your intuitive hints, this is important as Leo is very conservative and sometimes reluctant to change.
Mercury, the Sun’s messenger who is always nearby, is also in Leo and his stay will be long due to a retrograde period I’m going to write about later. Use Mercury and its ability to communicate in your own sign as he will clear your mind and ease the flow of ideas.
