Venus es un planeta “interior”, por ser uno de los más cercanos al Sol. Los planetas interiores son personales e son indican como funcionamos o reaccionamos en la intimidad. Que es lo que nos hace sentir bien y valorados, o no.
Estamos todos atravesando un momento astrológico complicado: nuestro ser (el Sol) se encuentra en estado de extrema tensión, (Urano), que requiere precaución constante (Saturno) y, como si ésto fuera poco, Plutón promete a cada uno cambios fundamentales e inevitables en una u otra área en nuestras vidas. Cuatro planetas que están formando una cruz en el cielo que cargamos todos en la tierra...
En medio de semejante tensión, y aunque Venus es también parte (breve), de ésta cruz en la que se opone durante unos días a Plutón es que me parece interesante refugiarnos allí, (aunque la astrología es un todo que no debe jamás evaluar un planeta de manera aislada), porque Venus hoy entra en Cáncer, donde permanecerá durante 24 días.
Venus en Cáncer, el signo regido por la Luna, que hace referencia a la madre, a la nutrición y al cuidado por excelencia, debe ser aprovechado para reciclar energía emocional, para reponernos y cuidarnos a nosotros mismos como lo haría una madre, con el mismo amor y cuidado.
Aprovechemos lo que Plutón le muestra a Venus sobre nuestra necesidad real de amor y comprensión, que ésta cruz que cargamos sea útil y podamos distinguir lo real.
También es verdad que Venus ocupando el signo regido por la Luna, hace que todos nos sintamos más susceptibles, que nos enojen actitudes que en otro momento pasarían inadvertidas y tomemos cada crítica de manera personal sin poder evitarlo aunque sepamos, desde la razón, que no lo es.
Pero con el Sol (el ser) y Venus (el sentir), en Cáncer, éste período podría ser muy positivo para descansar del afuera y llevar a cabo un viaje interior en búsqueda de serenidad y sanación.
No es para siempre, son unas tres semanas hasta que el Sol llegue a Leo.
Mercurio ya está instalado allí esperando (y poniéndonos impacientes!), y detrás del Sol a Leo también llegará Venus, que nos hará salir del río emocional en que nos tiene nadando para mantenernos a flote y nos secará al brillo y al calor del Sol leonino.
Para entonces ya habrá comenzado a desarmarse la cruz que mencioné más arriba!
Para apreciar ése momento es necesario sacarle el máximo provecho a éste, tomar perspectiva del afuera viéndolo objetivamente y elegir lo que nos sirve, lo que nos ayuda y hace sentir mejor, todas tareas de Venus!
Venus es el planeta regente de Tauro y de Libra. Y éste tránsito en Cáncer hará que taurinos y taurinas centren su energía en el área doméstica, en la familia y la manera de comunicarse con ellos, estarán algo demandantes en lo afectivo. Mientras que Libra esperará un reconocimiento, más social que privado, que estaba tardando en llegar.
Quienes sí se encontrarán repasando actitudes ajenas y se sentirán algo atados e incomprendidos son Aries, Leo y Sagitario. Todo les parece lento, demasiado emotivo y poco práctico. Les recomiendo paciencia porque pasará.
Géminis y Acuario verán movilización en el ámbito laboral, la tendencia de la gente con la que trabajan a diario será más fluctuante, menos eficiente y por momentos más emotiva que práctica, pero igual de útil.
Para Cáncer, que se sentirá más completo y más motivado que de costumbre, para Escorpio y para Piscis, éste tránsito de Venus es mas afín a su naturaleza que para los demás signos ya que saben fluír con las mareas emocionales.
Virgo y Capricornio bien, emocionales y productivos, con buen rendimiento del tiempo y conexión entre lo que quieren, lo que pueden y como conseguirlo.
Para todos los signos, estoy segura que, mirando bien y no buscando tan lejos, encontraremos lo que necesitamos para reponernos, cada cual a su manera y armoniosamente sabrá como descansar y relajarse después de éste primer semestre, algo complejo, del 2011.

Venus is the manifestation of what pleases us, of where we find comfort and happiness, as well as what we expect from others to feel good ourselves.
And in order to feel good and appreciated we need to start with what we believe we deserve, right?
And this is a key point in the understanding of Venus: how we value ourselves.
What are we attracted to? What do we like? How much would we pay for it? Is it worth the value?
Venus is an “inner” planet because it is closer to the Sun, Inner planets are personal and say a lot about how we relate intimately with others and what makes us feel loved or rejected.
We are all going through a complex astrological moment as our being, (the Sun), is in a state of extreme pressure (Uranus), that requires control, (Saturn) and, if this were not enough, Pluto is promising each of us fundamental and unavoidable changes in one or more areas of our life. Four planets forming a big cross in heaven we have to carry on earth…
That’s why, in the middle of such tension, even though Venus is also part (briefly) of the cross when she opposes Pluto too, I think it would be interesting to take solace in Venus, even though astrology should be considered as whole, with no planet affecting us isolated from the rest, but
Venus changes sign today, 4 of July, and it enters Cancer, where she will stay for 24 days.
Venus in Cancer, whose ruler is the Moon and refers to the Mother principle, to nurturing and care, must be used to recycle our emotions, to recover and care of ourselves with the same love and devotion a mother would.
Let’s make use of what Pluto has to show to Venus during their brief encounter about our real need of love and understanding, as difficult as it may be…
It is also true that Venus dwelling in the Moon sign makes us feel more sensitive about others’ attitudes than we would regularly be. We may take comments in a personal way and see criticism where there is none, even if our mind tells us so.
But with the Sun, (our being), and Venus, (our feelings), in Cancer, this period is a very positive break from the outside world and it should push an inner trip in search of serenity and healing.
This won’t last forever, only about three weeks till the Sun enters Leo.
Mercury is already there, waiting (and making us impatient!), and behind it is the Sun, Venus will arrive in Leo too, and we will abandon this river of emotion where we struggle to keep afloat and we will dry and shine in the Leo Sun.
And by then the cross I mentioned before will start to disarm.
But to better appreciate that moment we need to make the best use of this one, take perspective from the outside and choose what is useful, what is helpful and makes us feel better, all chores where Venus excels.
Venus rules Taurus and Libra. And this transit in Cancer will make Taurus people to center their energy in the domestic arena, with family and how to communicate better. They may be emotionally demanding.
While Libra can expect the social recognition long due to them.
Aries, Leo and Sagittarius will find themselves reviewing other people’s attitudes and may feel tied and misunderstood. Everything will look slow, too emotional and complicated. I recommend patience because it will soon be over.
Gemini and Aquarius will notice changes in the work-study areas of their lives. People they work with every day will appear more emotional and perhaps less practical, but sensible all the same and time shall not be wasted.
For Cancer, who will feel more complete and motivated than usual, Scorpio and Pisces, this transit of Venus will be more comfortable than for the rest of the signs for they know how to flow with emotional tides.
Virgo and Capricorn are fine, a little too emotional but productive, with good timing and connection between what they want to do, what they can do and how to get it.
