Kirón: El sanador herido
Kirón es un planetoide descubierto en 1977 que orbita entre Saturno y Urano. Su nombre fue tomado de la mitología griega y hace referencia a alguien sabio con sus manos, o al cirujano.
Tenía la apariencia del centauro y fue considerado un maestro en el arte de la sanación, aunque una vez herido y en medio de profundo dolor, no pudo sanarse a sí mismo eligiendo renunciar a su inmortalidad. Pero su mérito y entrega en la tierra fueron premiados con una constelación, la que corresponde a Sagitario.
El símbolo que lo representa está formado por las letras K y O, -Objeto Kowal, por su descubridor-, que juntas parecen una llave. Veremos por que se trata de una llave pequeña que abre grandes puertas.
El Kirón astrológico representa en nuestra carta el lugar donde tenemos un dolor inevitable, pero también donde realizamos el esfuerzo por curarnos a nosotros mismos.
Este esfuerzo se traduce en poder sanar y consolar y se manifiesta en comprensión y empatía con el dolor del otro.
Cuando Kirón es activado por tránsitos se reavivan penas del pasado para que traídas a la luz tratemos de resolverlas. La intención de estos tránsitos es hacernos tomar conciencia de lo que nos hace sufrir, intentar cambiar el dolor por sabiduría y proyectar lo aprendido en servicio a los demás.
Kirón tarda aproximadamente cincuenta años en completar su ciclo. Y es alrededor de los cincuenta años, cuando Kirón vuelve a la posición que tenía en nuestro nacimiento, que tomamos real conciencia y perspectiva de nuestra vida y ya hemos adquirido experiencia para comprender lo que no puede cambiarse y la sabiduría y entrega necesarias para intentar transmitir la vivencia sin frustraciones y desinteresadamente.
Kirón se encuentra en Piscis desde febrero donde permanecerá hasta agosto del año 2018.
Es importante tenerlo en cuenta ya que desde Piscis, el signo de lo colectivo y de la ausencia de límites, seguramente tendrá mucho para enseñarnos acerca de nuestras debilidades, excesos – a veces sufrimos innecesariamente- y sobre nuestro inmenso potencial de comprensión.
Puede que cobremos conciencia del poder de la oración, meditación y, más que nada, de la entrega incondicional a causas comunes que nos unan espiritualmente a los demás colmando de sentido nuestras vidas.
Saber donde está nuestro Kirón natal nos ayuda a desentrañar lo inentendible acerca de nuestro dolor y a encontrar una salida alquímica que lo transforme de arma que lastima a utensilio que sana.

Chiron: The Wounded Healer
Chiron is a planetoid discovered in 1977 whose orbit is located between Saturn and Uranus. His name was taken from Greek mythology and makes reference to someone wise with his hands, or a surgeon.
Chiron had the appearance of a centaur and was considered a healing master, but once he was hurt and in the midst of deep pain he could not heal himself and chose to give up his immortality. But his merit and unselfish service on earth did
not pass unnoticed and he was rewarded with his own constellation (the one representing Sagittarius).
The glyph that represents Chiron is made of the letters K and O, -object Kowal-, for his discoverer, and together they resemble a key. We’ll see why it is a small key which opens big doors.
The astrological Chiron is located in our chart where an unavoidable pain dwells along with the effort we make to heal ourselves.
This effort is translated into being able to console others and manifests itself in empathy and understanding.
When Chiron is activated by transits it brings past pains to light for us to try to solve them. The meaning of these transits is to make us grow conscious of our suffering and try to change it for wisdom we can project in service to others.
Chiron takes approximately fifty years to complete its cycle. And it is when we are about fifty, and Chiron is back to the place it occupied at our birth, that we have perspective and enough experience to make agreements with what cannot be changed. At the same time we possess enough wisdom and devotion to try to share our experience unselfishly with others.
Chiron is in Pisces since February where he will remain till August 2018.
It is important to keep this in mind as from Pisces, the sign of the collective along with the absence of real boundaries, Chiron will have a lot to teach us about our weaknesses, excesses, -for sometimes we suffer endlessly-, and about our understanding.
We might grow aware of the power of prayer, or meditation, and more than anything else, of our unconditional share in collective causes which will spiritually bind us and fill our lives with meaning.
To know where our natal Chiron is may help us to grasp the meaning of the moral pain that’s been eluding us and at the same time provide us with the means to transform this weapon into a utensil.
