Lilit, o la Luna Negra
De
origen caldeo, la figura de Lilit es muy
antigua y escasamente tenida en cuenta en la astrología contemporánea. Se le
encuentra también en las culturas
egipcia y hebrea, con nombres diferentes pero igual significado.
Aparece
en las caras natales como una media luna negra.
Astronómicamente
es un cuerpo invisible que orbita la
Tierra a una distancia tres veces mayor que la de la Luna. Tarda 9 años en
recorrer su órbita y permanece 9 meses en cada signo.
Pero
mientras la Luna brilla por la luz del Sol, y ordena nuestros ciclos vitales al
andar, Lilit, su contraparte oscura, se autonutre y define
a sí misma. Su posición es importante en las cartas natales femeninas ya que
representa a la mujer original, antes de
Adán, que no claudica ante el deseo o el
poder del hombre.
A
diferencia de la Luna, las emociones de Lilit permanecen ocultas y le permiten
actuar a escondidas. Puede ser secreta y engañosa, pero sutil y no invasiva
como la Luna al inspirarnos.
En el
sector de la carta donde se encuentre guarda nuestra privacidad y lo que no
deseamos que se descubra, o compartir.
En un
nacimiento masculino representa su pelea oculta con las mujeres, o con lo
femenino.
Así
como la Luna es gentil y nutricia, Lilit es fuerte y disciplinada y está
dispuesta a hacer todo por sus criaturas, protegiéndolas hasta de sí misma y de lo que
ella representa si hace falta: de la vergüenza, el odio, la envidia, la
amargura, los celos y el deseo de venganza, entre otras lindezas.
Basta
echar una mirada a nuestra Lilit natal y al signo en que se encuentra para
descubrir a que pasión recurrimos para disimular nuestras heridas.

Lilith, or
the Dark Moon
Of Chaldean origins, Lilith’s figure is
from time immemorial and hardly taken into account in contemporary astrology.
She is also found in the Egyptian and Hebrew cultures under a different name
but with the same meaning.
It shows in the natal chart as a half black
moon.
Astronomically it is an invisible body
orbiting the Earth at three times the distance of the Moon. It takes Lilith
nine years to complete her orbit and she stays nine months in each sign.
But while the Moon gets her light from the
Sun and orders our life cycles when moving, Lilith, her dark counterpart, is
self-defined and self-fulfilled. Her position is important in female charts as
she represents the original woman, before Adam, who does not relinquish to a
man’s power or desires.
Different from the Moon’s, Lilith’s
emotions remain unknown allowing her to act behind the scenes. She may be
secretive, but she is also subtle and not invasive when she inspires us.
She is the guardian of our secrets, and of
all things we don’t want to be known or to share, in the house she occupies in
our chart.
In a man’s chart she represents his hidden
struggle with women or women related issues.
As the Moon is gentle and nutritious, Lilit
is strong and a disciplinarian, but both represent motherhood in a different
way. Lilit is ready to do anything to protect her creatures, even from her own essence
if needed: from shame, hatred, envy, bitterness, jealously and vengeance, among
other niceties.
We only need to pay a look at the sign our
natal Lilit is located in our chart to discover which of those passions we
automatically employ to hide our hurt feelings.
