Virgo New Moon September 5
In an ideal world each of us would know where Virgo is in our chart, and would thus be able to take full advantage of next Thursday’s new moon.
But time and experience has taught me that each lunation is in itself an alert and a benefit for all alike. It is still the same moon which has simply changed signs.
This month, the sun and the moon together in Virgo will help us to capitalize past efforts with common sense and practicality.
It doesn’t matter if we ignore where Virgo is in our chart. If we commit, sooner or later we will be able to organize ourselves, put a plan into practice and make it work. It will surely concern postponed issues which had been floating around our priorities list as non urgent, because they are annoying or tiresome, like starting with a diet or improving domestic work.
Virgo is the sign of the mind applied to work. And the moment has come to seriously devote ourselves to commitments, of making detailed and sensible lists of short term goals, to feel the pleasure of crossing out what we are able to complete, and be proud of small achievements.
It is not a little accomplishment. Virgo takes care of our daily life, the one that takes place while we wait for bigger things to happen. Virgo confirms and sustains life.
But it can also get obsessed over details and become over critical of others or auto critical and paralyze all action with the worst of moods. Be aware then of the way around words, which might act as weapons or tools during the month ruled by Mercury.
